Another Mondayne morning

Working from home, as is typical each week. Not driving into work once a week saves me about $150 a year with the price of gas now @ $2.50 pr gallon.

Bought a new driver over the weekend...Cleveland Launch 460. Actually, I ordered it since they don't stock X-flex shafts. The guys at Golf Galaxy also suggested the Aldila NV 75g which they claim will help me prevent hooks. I should have it in 7-10 days. They price matched Dick's, so I got it for $220.99 including tax and shipping. Great deal, IMO. I really looking forward to hitting it.

Friday niiiight and the living is eeeasy...

...although it was raining like a mutha when I drove home from work this evening. I left the office @ 6:00 tonight and apparently everyone esle working in RTP did too. Also, the rain seemed to cause a sense of confusion amoung my fellow commuters causing them to run into one another...at least I suspect that's what happened since Davis Dr. was a parking lot heading toward Hwy 54.

I smoked a couple of decent cigars Wed. night. An old Henry Clay Obelisk and a Fuente Hemingway...not sure about the size. With spring coming on, regulating the RH in my humidors has been easier. Only 22 more days until our new company launches and we're still identifing new stuff that needs to be worked on. I'm looking forward to the new business. Might mean new career opportunities for me...we'll have to wait and see.

Holy Crap!

It's been forever since I updated this...and tons of stuff has happened.

I'll be working for Lenovo in 26 days. Work is constant chaos trying to get everything done for the offical sale date. Got a new 2005 Acura TL...very sweet. It's Abyss Blue with camel leather interior. Rides like a dream and the sound system is amazing. I'm smoking more good cigars lately. I'm usually able to make it by my cigar shop for the Wedsnesday night smokers and at least once on the weekends. Smoke a very good Henry Clay over the weekend that's been aging on my large humidor for the past year or so. Heading out to play volleyball tonight. Carolina won last night and cost me $60...damn them.
